Love In the Name of Christ ( LOVE INC ) Fairbanks is a network of caring, Christian churches in the greater Fairbanks area committed to helping individuals and families in our community.  There is an untapped army of volunteers in local churches who are ready, willing, and able to build relationships with those in need. Love INC gives volunteers safe, manageable and time-limited opportunities to put their Christian faith and love to work.

Fairbanks Counseling & Adoption

Fairbanks Counseling and Adoption is a professional, non-profit, family service agency. The agency arose from concerns over community need, specifically in the areas of rising divorce rates, child abuse and neglect, delinquency, teen pregnancy and suicide. FCA first opened its doors in 1977, offering pastoral family counseling and adoption services. Within one year, services for pregnant teens were added. The agency currently provides a wide variety of services to the Fairbanks area, including individual and family counseling, family support, parenting classes, pregnancy counseling and support, adoption services, and street outreach services for homeless and runaway youth.

Fairbanks Counseling and Adoption is a professional family service agency whose purpose is to support the sanctity of all life by strengthening families, promoting healthy parenting and advocating for children. The agency is committed to empowering individuals to make informed, responsible, personal decisions.

CareNet Pregnancy Resource Center

Care Net Pregnancy Center of the Tanana Valley is a faith-based, non-profit, non-medical organization founded in 1991. Our staff includes specially trained volunteer peer counselors. The center is not a medical clinic; we do not provide abortions nor do we refer for them. We believe in the value of a fully informed decision and give accurate information. We explore all available options and lovingly encourage practical alternatives to abortion while still stressing that the decision belongs to the woman alone. We provide free and confidential services, including pregnancy tests, options counseling, adoption information and referrals and post-abortion help. We also provide gently used maternity and baby clothing and other child necessities.

Long term goal:

Care Net Pregnancy Center will be the most effective vehicle for manifesting the love of Christ into concrete actions during a crisis pregnancy, resulting in a significant number of crisis pregnancies being carried to term, and of individuals receiving the Gospel.

Fairbanks Rescue Mission

Lives are changed at the Fairbanks Rescue Mission everyday. By providing the basic needs in life: food, shelter, and clothing, Interior Alaska's needy, homeless, and transient population have shelter and assistance ready and waiting for them. These are men and women just like you and I, with families and children like ours. Somewhere, somehow, hard times came and they needed a place to go for a helping hand. The Mission tries to meet both spiritual and physical needs in helping individuals towards restoration to a correct relationship with God and a productive relationship within our society. Long term transformation is the Mission's goal.

Since the Mission first opened it's doors over 32 years ago, on Valentines's day 1974, thousands have passed through our doors for assistance and many have found or renewed their faith in Jesus Christ Saviour.

Joel's Place

Joel's Place is a faith-based youth center in Fairbanks that houses the only indoor skate/bmx park in Alaska. It is also the hub for local bands and concerts. Joel's Place was created to provide a reliable, accessible, safe and comfortable place for youth to gather and express their artistic talents.
